 Pedagogical Competence I

The learning objectives are crucial for teachers and students.

Presenting these objectives before any course starts communicate specifically what students should be able to do. They tell students what is important as the outcome of the course. Learning objectives should be used to guide students as they work through the course, and to assess their learning progress (Zhou , 2017)


Objectives of Pedagogical competence I:

1. You are familiar with the documents that regulate planning teaching and guiding.
2. You understand the principles, practices and forms of guidance in vocational education/higher education.
3. You understand the relevance of the learning process in the planning of pedagogically founded teaching and guidance.
4. You understand the meaning and goals of assessment in the learning process.
5. You understand the amendments, guidelines and practices that regulate and govern assessment in vocational and higher education.


Pedagogical Competence II

Objectives of Pedagogical competence II:

6. You plan a learning module in your own substance field.
7. You plan a learning environment that promotes learning and competence.
8. You implement a learning module in your own substance field.
9. You use teaching and guiding methods in a pedagogically justified manner.
10. You interact with students to promote learning.
11. You interact with other parties involved in vocational and higher education.
12. You guide the student to understand the vocational skills requirements, competence goals, the assessment goals and criteria.
13. You use assessment and feedback to foster the student’s learning, competence and professional growth.
14. You develop your activities as a teacher and tutor based on the feedback you have gathered.
